Using paper and skewer sticks, I made a mock up model (1:100) looking at shapes and ways to use my materials.
I used straws and skewers to see how I could weave my materials. I found dowel sticks won't be so flexible to weave. Makes an interesting pattern.
Went to the workshop and Allen showed me a way of piercing holes into my sponge discs. I am using a sharp circular tool which I need to hammer to holes into. LOTS OF WORK! the holes are not exact to the diameter of the rods but it worked well as I could pull over the sponge and it acts as a stopper from it sliding.
